A major international Oil and Gas Operating Company in Angola, Ghana and Nigeria is currently seeking to employ qualified Angolan, Ghanaian and Nigerian technicians and engineers to fill various roles in Angola, Ghana and Nigeria.
Senior Instrument Engineer (4 positions available in each country)
BE / BSc /HND Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a reputable institution with 1-3 years of experience in Design Engineering Organization or an Oil and Gas company. Shall be responsible for design of instrumentation system, preparation of specifications/data sheets and installation drawings. Should have experience in DCS, PLC, SCADA and Telecommunication system, configuration, troubleshooting and supervising installation/commissioning.
Operations/Shift Engineers (8 positions available in each country)
BE / BSc / HND Chemical Engineering from a reputable institution with 1-3 years experience in operations of oil refinery or chemical plants. Should be able to manage plant operations independently in accordance with the company regulations and HSE policies. Should have experience in working with DCS System.
HSE Engineers (6 positions available in each country)
BE/BSc/HND in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution with 1-3 years of experience in oil and gas working environment. Capable of managing the HSE functions of the plant covering development and implementation of HSE policies, Emergencies Response Plan, handling manual procedures, conduct safety audit, HSE training programs and safety drills.
Electrical Technicians (12 positions available in each country)
BSc / HND in Chemical/Mechanical/Petroleum/Electrical Engineering or EET/MET Part I, II & III
Should be able to monitor/assess performance of equipment and systems and recommend for improvement measures or take corrective actions. Should be able to analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of equipment and systems.
Welding Engineers (8 positions available in each country)
BSc / HND in Welding Engineering from a reputable institution with 1-3 years of experience in oil and gas working environment. Should be capable of solving welding engineering problems, analyze weld failures, find and eliminate weld defects, provide expert witness services, and develop welding procedures. Must have experience in aluminum, steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, and other types of metals, and must be familiar with various welding procedures, including oil and underwater. Pipelines.
QC Welding/NDE Inspectors (4 positions available in each country)
Diploma or Degree in a technical subject. Welding Inspector (CSWIP-IWI-AWS or equivalent). NDE level II (ISO 97012/ASNT or equivalent). GOST certification is a plus. Minimum 5 years experience in the Welding and NDE fields to have included: Experience with various materials like SS, CrMo, NiCr etc.
Should have Experience with Quality Inspections, reports, etc. Experience with NDE and applicability. Experience in welding of piping, steel structures and vessel inspections.
Pipeline Welders (16 positions available in each country)
Certified Welder and Welding and Fabrication Work Advanced Certificate. Must be able to complete welds on pipes according to specified standards. Should ensure that welds use to seal the pipes match the pipe specifications. Should be able work out in the field for hours. Should be very familiar with the main types of welding. Must follow safety procedures to minimize chances of accidents.
In addition to meeting the above requirements, an applicant must be either Active Worker or Graduate Professional Member of Association of Global Oil and Gas Professionals Inc. – AGOGPro as one of the qualification requirements. Good verbal, written and communication skills. A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record will be an advantage.
